Welcome to the Instep Dance Society! We are a diverse, student led group with a little something for everyone!

Instep is Durham University's largest dance society, covering a wide range of levels, styles and performances. We welcome everyone from complete beginners to those who have been dancing for their whole life. We offer over 10 different styles with everything from ballet to salsa to street.

The society is divided into four sections: the weekend classes, the competition team, and two performance groups - Troupe and Instep external performances. Click on the images below to find out more.

The Durham University Dance Team travel around the country competing at several university competitions throughout the year as well has hosting Durham's own competition

Troupe are a small performance group who dance at university events like Fashion Shows and Balls
